Take a seat and review some of our reels of footage showing that sometimes, just sometimes, we do hit the target.
< Here an SU La7 gets caught in the sights of D12.
At low level (100ft or less) be very careful of the ground, it can be quite hard when you are flying at 270mph !
This still shows an example of 'leading a target', notice the crosshairs are infront of the targets actual postion. When 'leading' a target the goal is to shoot at where the target will be when your rounds get there. >
< Always ensure you have more 'E' than your enemy if you intend to pull up. Here another one sits up and begs ! From this firing position i got 4 20mm Cannon shells into his cockpit, a pilot kill followed in quick order as you would expect !
Good use of the 'follow' view helps in a dogfight, practice using it and it will soon become your best friend.
A dogfight to far, always know when to 'cut n run' ! or you can fight until you die, it saves travel time !
The 'you break it, you buy it' scheme has been abolished at D12, thankfully !
