The D12 Fighter Group are also know as 'the pit vipers' but this is not only because of their ability to strike hard.
As with the snake the D12 Pit Vipers have developed special organs of heat reception that help them to sense warm-blooded animals (women), an ability that is especially useful at night, when many of them hunt (out on the town).
Some pit vipers may also use these organs to find cool refuges (bars) from inhospitable daytime temperatures.
